Join the Lindon Historic Preservation Commission at our annual Historic Tree Lighting Ceremony. Learn how Lindon celebrated Christmas in years past with some hot chocolate from our Police Department and music from our Lindon Elementary students. Mayor Lundberg, along with the help of some local residents, will light the tree for the Christmas season. The event will take place on Monday, December 1 at the Lindon Community Center starting at 6 PM. After the lighting of the tree, there will be pictures with Santa, holiday crafts, and more!

This event has been CANCELED. Thank you for the many years of support for this event. The Santa Parade started in 2020 during Covid as a way to still interact with the community and then evolved into the Holiday Light Parade as a part of our Centennial Celebration in 2024. To ensure safety along the parade route in the dark, we made the decision to cancel this event. Please email recreation@lindon.gov if you have any questions.
