Adolescence can be a time of self-discovery and rapid growth, physically and mentally. This class will be an opportunity for adolescents aged 12-17 to practice growth mindset through recreational therapy (RT). Growth mindset is a term used in positive psychology which reframes that challenges are opportunities for growth. This class will provide therapeutic activities with peers in self-expression, healthy thinking, gratitude, learning from failure, resilience, and adaptability.
